Deliveroo is a leading online food delivery service that connects customers with local restaurants and grocery stores. Founded in the UK back in 2013, they offer fast, convenient and reliable deliveries through its network of riders throughout the world.
Customers can order from a wide range of restaurants – from high-end dining establishments to everyday takeaways – as well as grocery stores for essential shopping. Deliveroo also partners with restaurants to optimise delivery operations, including Editions, their delivery-only kitchens.
With a focus on innovation, efficiency and customer satisfaction, Deliveroo continues to transform the food delivery industry worldwide.
Deliveroo asked us to create a video showcasing their new Rider Check-In system, which uses NFC tags to allow riders to tap to confirm arrival – improving accuracy, reducing delays and streamlining pickups.
They also needed over a thousand high-quality images for their partner portals, which required shoots at the likes of Los Mochis, Tofu Vegan, Prezzemolo & Vitae and Flower Station.
Filming at McDonald’s and Pizza 1889 in Cambridge, UK, our footage featured dynamic drone shots, insightful interviews and order preparation scenes. Getting the drone airborne required permission from Cambridge City Airport, but we made it happen.
Our hand-picked team took care of everything, from filming, editing and sourcing a voiceover artist (Jefferson Bond), to capturing drone shots and creating graphics.
The final video was showcased at Deliveroo HQ in London and has since been rolled out globally in multiple languages for partners and riders to learn about the new system.
